A Day in the Life of a Production Planner Intern:
- Interpreting material requirements based on Supply / Demand analysis
- Issue and track Purchase Requisitions through the procurement process until material is received and available for manufacturing
- Issue discrete job work orders to production and track through completion of manufacturing process
- Interface and communicate with program management and engineering on behalf of the ISC team
- Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems or risks to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are available as needed
- Take on and lead project(s) as assigned
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in supply chain or related fields and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work independently, highly organized with great attention to detail
- Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of MRP
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communications/interpersonal skills
- This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Textron's compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range for this position is 23 - 27 per hour.
