2nd Shift Deburr

Volt is immediately hiring for a 2nd shift Deburr for a company located in Santa Ana, CA.

As a 2nd shift Deburr you will:

  • Use surface de-burring, sanding and grinding tools to remove excess metal from manufacture parts to specification.
  • Visually and physically inspect forged parts to ensure all excess metal is removed.
  • Select the proper size de-burr/grinder to remove excess metal from manufactured parts.
  • Remove defects and flash extension per part requirements.
  • Maintain accurate part and or work piece counts.
  • Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific traveler.

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Must have 2-3 years with manufacturing background
    • Prior experience working with air powered tools on metal parts/products.
    • Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
    • Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, persistence.
    • Visual examination of finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Preferred Skills & Qualifications
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish
    • Grinding, surface grinding and construction background is a plus.

Schedule: 3:30PM to 2:00AM Monday through Thursday and Friday and Saturday 1:30PM to 10:00PM

Days: Monday through Friday and overtime on Saturday

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
