Job Title

Perform assembly, inspection, repair & rework of small unmanned aircraft & associated system components using best practices & manufacturer procedures/directives.

Make small unmanned aircraft system airworthiness determinations.

Maintain maintenance & alteration records via an electronic logbook.

Generate & track malfunction, defect & reliability reports.

Recover & refurbish end-of-life components/parts.

What You'll Need:

FAA Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant license.

At least 1 year training related to electrical & mechanical inspection, rework & repair, and assembly of aircraft systems.

Training or experience creating and managing assembly & maintenance records.

Training or experience organizing and tracking parts & consumable supplies.

A detail and process oriented work ethic.

Ability to work under limited supervision within an operations team.

Strong communication skills.

Bonus:

1 or more years experience maintaining small unmanned aircraft & related systems.

Knowledge of DC power systems, PWM (pulse width modulation) controls, CAN (controller area network) bus architecture & LiPo (lithium polymer) battery systems (charging & safety).

Knowledge & experience with Linux command line, file structure, networking syntax.

Google G Suite experience.

Experience working in a quality process controlled environment.

Demonstrable wire & terminal soldering skills.

Graduate of an aviation, electrical or mechanical trade school or university program.
