Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you will support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partner public schools. Working full-time on campus, you’ll provide in-class support, small-group tutoring, and one-on-one mentoring in core subjects. You will collaborate with teachers to track progress, reinforce positive behavior, and create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment. At City Year, you’ll join a diverse, mission-driven team focused on social justice, leadership development, and continuous professional growth while making a meaningful impact every day.
