Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you will serve full-time in a partner public school, providing small-group and one-on-one academic support, with a focus on literacy and math. You will build strong, trusting relationships with students, helping them develop academic skills, growth mindsets, and positive classroom behaviors. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers to track student progress, support classroom activities, lead enrichment sessions, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school climate.
