K-12 School-Based Academic Tutor and Mentor

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year, you’ll serve full-time in a partner public school, providing individualized and small-group tutoring in core subjects, supporting classroom instruction, and tracking student progress. You will build strong, trusting relationships to mentor students in goal setting, attendance, and social-emotional skills. Working within a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll collaborate with teachers, participate in school-wide initiatives, and engage in ongoing professional development while advancing educational equity and student success.
