Salary and Benefits: Schedule #210 - Step I - $3,976.00 monthly 8.0 hours per day / 12 months Replacing #2639 Monday Friday There are district paid benefits with this position according to the CSEA Contract Special Details: To transport students to and from school, on field trips, and to/from other sites within designated route(s) and to ensure the safety of student passengers while riding in a school bus. Performs general ground maintenance work: plants, cultivates, waters and sprays plants, shrubs, trees and flowers: fertilizes, waters, and cares for lawns, using mower. Performs general maintenance and repair work to district buildings, equipment and grounds. May use carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and welding tools to perform general maintenance work. May assist mechanic in the minor repair and maintenance of busses and other vehicles. Starting and quitting times will be assigned daily, based on the scheduling of activities, on an as needed basis and as assigned by the District. The 8 hour shift will be concurrent hours. This position is excluded from Article 2.3 of the CSEA Contract. A pre-employment physical will be required at the District's expense.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bus Driver Certification will be required no later than 6 months from date of hire. Bus driver training will be provided. Successful attainment of bus driver certification is mandatory to continue in position.
