Acute Care Surgeon

The MedStar Health Baltimore Integrated Surgery Department is seeking board certified/board eligible general surgeons with excellent clinical skills, enthusiasm, and collaborative spirits to join our growing Acute Care Surgery team.

Those who have completed acute care surgery and/or surgical critical care fellowships are preferred, but we strongly encourage applications from all general surgeons with a passion for emergency general surgery.

The current acute care surgeons are well regarded by all and are eager to add outstanding surgeons to our team!

What You'll Do

* Surgeons on the ACS team have the opportunity to:

o Treat patients acutely

o Manage inpatient and follow-up care along with general surgery residents and advanced practice providers

o Ensure they receive outstanding multidisciplinary care while taking home call
