Position Overview
As Administrator your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Oversee all daily operations of the facility.
- Liaise between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and departments.
- Manage staffing, budget, purchasing, and compliance with regulations.
- Lead monthly operational reviews with corporate.
Personnel Administration
- Conduct staff meetings and performance reviews.
- Manage hiring, disciplinary actions, and productivity analysis.
- Implement employee orientation, training, and development programs.
Clinical & Quality Oversight
- Ensure compliance with AAAHC and other regulatory bodies.
- Work with Medical Director on new surgical services and quality improvement programs.
- Manage nursing, supply, records, and housekeeping functions.
- Oversee infection control, medical staff credentialing, and quality audits.
Business & Physician Relations
- Manage financial performance, contracts, and pricing.
- Develop marketing and growth strategies for the center.
- Foster strong relationships with physicians and ensure patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Ambulatory Surgery Center Administrator would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Proven leader in ambulatory surgery center operations or hospital surgical services.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, compliance, and staff.
- Skilled in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and physician relations.
- Excellent communicator who embodies client's mission and values.
