The Supervisor, Cargo Services provides operational and administrative support to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient flight operations. This role serves as the central coordination point between flight crews, dispatch, vendors, airport authorities, and internal teams. The position operates in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and requires strong attention to detail, communication, and decision-making skills. This role requires the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, and a commitment to developing toward Loadmaster certification.
Coordinate and manage daily flight operations and documentation
Prepare, review, and maintain flight folders
Serve as the primary communication for flight crews, dispatch, ramp, and vendors
Monitor inbound and outbound flights and update schedules and gate assignments
Coordinate aircraft parking, gate usage, and ramp positioning
Communicate ETAs, delays, and operational changes to all stakeholders
Ensure compliance with CBP and regulatory documentation requirements
Maintain accurate operational records and reporting
VEOCI data capturing and file review
Review of catering orders
Review and confirm the operating crew transportation
Provide administrative and office support as needed
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
23 years of cargo handling or ground operations experience
1+ year in a supervisory or lead role (or equivalent leadership experience)
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
High attention to detail and ability to perform accurately under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
Fluent in English (read, write, speak, understand)
Current or ability to obtain TSA clearance
Valid driver's license and eligibility for ramp access
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be at least 18 years of age if operating cargo equipment
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish preferred)
Strong judgment, prioritization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
