Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Manage patient interactions including telephone triage, offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
• Observe and report abnormal patient signs to physicians, maintaining thorough and precise medical records and billing documentation.
• Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand treatment plans and medication usage.
• Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and patient education materials, ensuring exam rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with sterilization protocols.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
