Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to supporting patient care management in a clinical setting. This role adapts daily responsibilities based on the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring flexible and responsive patient care.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and delegated patient care, maintaining awareness of normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines, including telephone triage with reassurance, accurate education, and clear directions.
  • Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by ensuring medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, documenting all findings thoroughly.
  • Support physicians during testing and treatment procedures, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, arranging necessary testing or admissions, and assisting with minor surgeries and physicals. Ensure proper consents are obtained before invasive procedures or immunizations and distribute educational materials to patients.
  • Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterility of instruments and equipment. Follow cleaning protocols to keep exam rooms orderly and safe.
  • Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed, assisting in patient instruction to confirm understanding of treatments and medication usage.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.

Education and Experience Required:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program is required.

Work Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, part-time, with flexible scheduling.
