Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, education, and clear instructions to patients.
• Ensure smooth healthcare service flow during patient visits by accurately updating medical records, obtaining vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints and dressings, managing medication samples, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.

Education and Experience:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.

Work Schedule:

This is a part-time position with a 1st shift schedule, averaging 32 hours per week.

Location: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
