Applications Delivery Manager

The duties and responsibilities for a GS-2210-15 Applications Delivery Manager generally include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Providing expert guidance in the design, development, modification, testing, implementation, and support of new or existing application software solutions delivered through Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) for the OIT application portfolio, including work to modernize claims, case, and matter management solutions.
  2. Directing and integrating the work of Applications Specialists and development teams responsible for complex enterprise application initiatives, ensuring that technical approaches, architectures, schedules, resources, and implementation strategies are coordinated across related projects and services.
  3. Interpreting and analyzing new and evolving Government, Department, Division, and OIT regulations, initiatives, and policies for applicability to enterprise application and digital service offerings and ensures compliance and alignment.
  4. Providing managerial direction for the evaluation, modernization, integration, and deployment of enterprise applications within the assigned portfolio.
  5. Ensuring cybersecurity requirements and designs incorporated into applications and web services appropriately account for system performance, scalability, and availability.
  6. Performing formally designated System Owner security responsibilities for assigned systems within the Applications Services portfolio and is accountable for ensuring that assigned systems meet applicable security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  7. Identifying significant cybersecurity risks affecting assigned applications and recommending mitigation strategies to the ACIO and appropriate cybersecurity officials.
