Assistant Director

Creative World School in Cypress TX is seeking an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Director to help lead our vibrant early childhood education community. If you're ready to help shape the future of our young learners and lead a dynamic team, we'd love to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in an Early Childhood setting
• A minimum of 3 years of recent Leadership experience
• Proven experience with children ages 6 weeks- 12 years
• An AA degree, CDA, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good physical and mental health
• A positive, warm and enthusiastic attitude

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children
• Ensuring children are supervised at all times, maintaining proper ratios and attentive care
• Overseeing classroom documentation and ensuring timely, accurate recordkeeping
• Supporting staff in understanding and implementing Creative World's educational philosophy, policies, and all licensing regulations
• Greeting the children and their families warmly and enthusiastically each day
• Fostering strong, positive, and consistent communication with families
• Encouraging ongoing family involvement and maintaining cooperative, respectful relationships with each child's family
• Modeling and mentoring developmentally appropriate, child-centered practices
• Supporting and guiding staff in planning and implementing an inquiry-based curriculum
• Leading with a collaborative and team-focused mindset; communicating clearly and supportively with staff
• Demonstrating professional, ethical, and responsible conduct at all times
