Associate Attorney

We are working with a highly established, multi-city insurance defense firm looking for a strong General Liability Associate Attorney to join their Pittsburgh team. They are seeking someone with 3+ years of experience. This role offers remote flexibility.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Previous insurance defense/general liability experience
• Experience handling matters such as personal injury, premises liability, products liability, or similar cases
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents
• Handle depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations
• Communicate with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties throughout the litigation process

The annual salary for this position is between $125K-$170K. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
