Minimum Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
- Eight (8) years of progressively responsible relevant clinical experience or MBA/MSN with 2‐3 years of progressively responsible relevant clinical experience.
- Previous management experience
- Quality management and performance improvement experience
Preferred:
- MBA or Master's Degree in a related field
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty or other related field; required within 2 years of accepting position.
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Fetal Monitoring, Chemotherapy)
Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas, which requires working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
- Employees are required to have reasonable access to transportation to meet work requirements made in the ordinary course of business in a timely and efficient manner.
