Location/Schedule: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)
Base Salary: $175K, plus a billable bonus and a discretionary bonus
Practice: Medical malpractice defense for hospitals, physician groups, and carriers. Obstetrics, surgery, neurosurgery, radiology, emergency medicine. High-exposure files. Not a general-liability seat.

What You’ll Actually Do:
- Defend physicians and hospitals in malpractice actions in New York courts.
- Coordinate experts and prepare them for deposition.
- Take and defend fact and expert depositions.
- Draft summary judgment motions and prepare cases for trial.
Requirements:
- JD and active New York bar
- 2–8 years post-bar medical malpractice defense or complex civil litigation - current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
- Deposition or expert-coordination experience is a plus; strong motion writing is required
