Job Summary:
Crowley Auto Body is seeking a skilled I-CAR Certified Autobody Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs in accordance with OEM procedures and shop standards.
We are looking for a dependable, production-driven technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs
- Complete metal work, panel replacement, and dent repair
- Operate frame machines and measuring systems
- Perform welding (MIG/spot; aluminum a plus)
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles (R&I)
- Follow OEM repair procedures and safety guidelines
- Conduct self-quality checks before moving vehicles to next stage
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with estimators and production team
Requirements:
Certifications:
- I-CAR Certification (required or in progress)
- ASE Certification
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years collision repair experience
- Experience with structural and non-structural repairs
- Familiarity with DRP environments preferred
Skills:
- Strong metal finishing and body repair skills
- Welding experience required
- Ability to read and follow repair plans
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair software
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and shop environment conditions
