Senior Director Of Financial Reporting

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Director of Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $165,000 to $185,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead financial reporting, accounting operations, and close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, forecasts, and financial analyses to support reporting quality and compliance.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax professionals, and other key stakeholders involved in the financial reporting process.
• Lead special projects, including acquisitions, capital transactions, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to accounting teams while supporting cross functional business objectives.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) credential.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least five years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, SOX compliance, and accounting operations within a public company environment.
• Previous experience with ERP systems and financial reporting technologies, preferably in complex organizational structures.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in both public accounting and private industry environments.
• Financial services, asset management, or investment industry experience.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams and time zones.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities with a focus on process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, finance teams, and business partners.
