What You Will Be Doing
- Managing teams on large ground-up and renovation construction projects
- Being responsible for projects from start to finish
- Working with upper management and Senior PMs to ensure job safety and completion
- Developing and building strong teams for each project while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget
- Driving division profitability through effective project execution
- Developing and leading project management technical and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning
- Evaluating and continually improving systems and processes to meet customer requirements and profitability goals
- Reviewing overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific construction methodologies as required
- Ensuring schedule requirements are met for all projects and adjusting priorities and milestones based on changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements
- Interacting with customers to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion
- Managing the project review process with emphasis on financial forecasting
- Ensuring high-quality construction, documentation, and project delivery
- Proactively and systematically communicating challenges, risks, and successes
What You Need for This Position
- 3+ years of general construction project management experience
- Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
- Demonstrated ability to run a profitable project portfolio
- Strong initiative, execution, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills
