Professional Liability Attorney

A nationally recognized, fast growing litigation firm is seeking an experienced Professional Liability Attorney to join its collaborative Southern California team. This role is ideal for a business litigator who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and a clear path for long term growth within a supportive and team focused environment.

The Role

This position offers hands on responsibility for sophisticated professional liability and business litigation matters from inception through resolution. Attorneys in this role work closely with clients, carriers, and colleagues to develop strategy and deliver high quality results.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Managing a full litigation caseload from intake through resolution
• Communicating directly with clients and providing regular strategic updates
• Taking and defending depositions
• Drafting and arguing motions including dispositive motions
• Participating in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trials
• Defending professional liability claims involving attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, and real estate agents

Qualifications

Successful candidates will bring strong litigation fundamentals and the ability to manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

-Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

-Active admission to practice in California

-4 or more years of experience in business litigation

-Prior experience with legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, or other professional liability matters strongly preferred

-Excellent written and oral communication skills
