The Role

You'll be the trusted tax advisor for our fastest-growing clients, from formation through exit. Lead strategic tax planning, build strong client relationships, and drive growth across the firm. This is hands-on leadership in a high-energy environment where your expertise directly impacts founder success.

Job Duties

• Advise emerging growth companies across the startup lifecycle-from formation and equity compensation through fundraising, R&D credits, scaling, and exit
• Identify cross-selling opportunities including R&D credits, QSBS, entity structuring, and M&A advisory
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to venture-backed and high-growth companies
• Review federal and multi-state tax returns for accuracy and completeness
• Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients and build strong relationships

What You Need

• 5+ years of public accounting experience in tax
• Experience working with startups, SaaS companies, or venture-backed businesses
• Proficiency in tax software including GoSystem and OIT
• Knowledge of equity compensation, Section 1202, R&D credits, multi-state tax, ASC 740, Section 174, and M&A due diligence
• Bachelor's degree and CPA license
