Certified Backhoe Operator

Who we are. Capitol Valley Electric is a nationally recognized electrical contractor located in Sacramento, CA. We work on a wide array of projects including multi-family, commercial, utility scale solar, and renewable energy.

What you'll do

Operate backhoe, bulldozer, excavator, bobcat, etc.

Follow construction plans and blueprints to dig trenches and holes for construction projects.

Follow site grading and operations plans.

Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance of the equipment.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience operating heavy machinery.

Class A License a plus.

Understand and interpret blueprints, site layouts, and operator manuals.

Keen eye for detail and an excellent understanding of safety regulations.

Valid certification to operate backhoes and other heavy machinery.

Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

OSHA 30.

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
