Behavior Technician (BT)

We're seeking a Behavioral Technician looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a unique setting. Position Types Available: Full-Time Qualifications: * High School Diploma * Specialized knowledge in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) * Experience working with children, preferably special needs preferred * Proven ability to work within a team, leadership and problem solving abilities * Strong core values, such as integrity, loyalty, trust, leadership, team work are required * Exhibits positive and proactive approaches to problem solving * Bachelor's degree preferred Why work with Care Options for Kids? * Unlimited opportunity for professional development * Insurance available first day of month following hire date * 401K Plan * Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) * Employee Referral Program * Industry-leading on the job training provided by RBTs and BCBAs Responsibilities and Duties: * Implements and carries out processes and procedures to improve the quality of life of clients as it relates to their individual behavior support plan * Actively participates in staff training programs designed to increase overall skills, including but not limited to Registered Behavior Technician training * Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with management, parents, behavior analysts, Lead RBT, technicians and clients * Becomes fluent in the understanding and application of each child's Behavior Support Plan * Observes records, and reports the condition and behavior of the clients, including maintaining daily records * Other duties as assigned.
