Job Band: Overview Reads orders, gathers ordered materials/doors, reads/interprets tickets, pulls, cleans, and installs inserts according to customer order(s) Responsibilities Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Maintains a safe and clean work environment Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Door knowledge Common power tool operation Basic cleaning knowledge Must be able to read/interpret tickets Strong knowledge of door types preferred Moderate knowledge of door/customer quality specs, pull placards, and load list details Use of small hand tools, basic math, and reading a tape measure Must be able to stand for long periods of time Regular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid having any disruptions in production and customer service Follow all operational and safety SOP's as written Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, preferred not required 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, preferred Pay The hourly pay rate range for this position is $18.00 + benefits. Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is specific to Vandalia and may not be applicable to other locations.
