Branch Service Representative II

A customer-focused Branch Service Representative II is sought to join a branch team. This individual will have a key role in supporting daily branch operations, providing customer service, processing transactions, opening new accounts, and ensuring a positive experience for clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a front-line banking environment, have prior teller and new account experience, and enjoy building relationships with both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process a variety of teller transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cash handling.
  • Open and service consumer and business accounts while identifying customer needs and providing appropriate banking solutions.
  • Assist customers with account maintenance, online banking support, and general service requests.
  • Handle cash transactions and manage larger cash-related requests, including restaurant deposits and Currency Transaction Reports.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for customer transactions and account activity.
  • Support daily branch operations and contribute to overall branch goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with branch leadership and team members to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Cross-train and assist in both teller and new account functions as business needs require.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous banking experience with both teller responsibilities and new account opening experience.
  • Customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing branch environment.
  • Experience handling cash transactions accurately and maintaining operational compliance.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a community or regional bank environment.
  • Familiarity with large cash transaction processing.
  • Experience balancing multiple responsibilities in a customer-facing banking role.
  • Ability to serve as a resource for branch customers and support various banking needs.
