Ally Waste Services is a national provider of waste and recycling support services for apartment communities. We're growing quickly in San Antonio and looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our team.
Pay & Schedule
- $19.00-$22.00 per hour
- Overtime available for top performers
- 4-day work week (MondayThursday)
- Shift: 6:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Weekly pay
What You'll Do
- Drive a company truck (and trailer when needed)
- Service 1020 apartment communities per day
- Identify, photograph, and document bulky items using our mobile app
- Load and haul furniture, mattresses, and large items
- Transport and unload items at the landfill
- Work efficiently to complete routes on time
Physical & Work Requirements
- Lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Active, fast-paced work-getting in/out of truck throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willing to work around trash and landfill environments
- Able to stay productive during 10-hour shifts
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Have at least 2-years of experience as a licensed driver
- No major violations
- Comfortable driving for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Experience in moving, labor, landscaping, or similar work is a plus
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- The ability to pass or have a current DOT Physical

Pre?Employment Screening
Candidates selected for hire may be required to complete a pre?employment drug screening, consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Screening may include testing for marijuana where permitted by relevant regulations. Compliance with all screening requirements is a condition of employment.
Additional Screening Requirements For Driving Positions
Positions that involve driving company vehicles or driving on company business are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, conducted in accordance with applicable laws. To qualify for driving duties, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Hold a current and valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
- Be at least 18 years old and have maintained a valid license for a minimum of 2 years.
- Have no Major Violations (Type I) within the past 36 months.
- Have no more than 4 Minor Violation points in the past 36 months and no more than 3 Minor Violation points in the past 12 months.
- Successfully complete a DOT physical examination and obtain the required medical certification prior to performing any driving duties.
- Successfully pass a background check, conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
