Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage an assigned geographic territory to exceed goals and quotas, building a key, sustainable pipeline to help drive new business.
  • Manage the full sales cycle.
  • Report sales results weekly to District Manager.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and contact through cold calls, visits, or emails.
  • Schedule tours, executive luncheons, and promotional offerings to showcase facility features and offers.
  • Follow up with potential guests after tour/lunch or promotional offer to close contracts.
  • Update all sales prospecting notes and client outreach activities into Triple Seat.
  • Acknowledge all guests and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Work cross-departmentally with Spare Times' Event Planning Staff and other teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with available products/services and pricing/payment plans.
  • Contribute to the team's success by accomplishing tasks and assisting with projects as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
  • Interact professionally by using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience with outbound calling, prospecting, business development and/or direct sales preferred.
  • Prior experience working in an event business a plus and/or working with business to business relationships.
  • Skilled at performing cold calls and establishing strong professional relationships with guest.
  • Experience utilizing CRM software.
  • A self-motivated hunter with a strong desire to achieve goals and exceed quotas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong contract negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

Work Environment

  • The noise level can be loud and may contain lighting effects such as lasers and strobes.

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and able to lift 50 pounds.
  • This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
