WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: As a Business Development Representative at Simpli.fi, you will play a key role in driving pipeline generation across our national sales organization, with a focus on agency, brand, and performance marketing partners operating in the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
This role is focused on high-quality outbound prospecting and opportunity qualification, with an emphasis on strategic account targeting and consultative engagement. You will act as a pipeline strategist and early-stage opportunity builder, partnering closely with senior sales leaders to identify, engage, and develop high-value accounts. This role offers exposure to complex, consultative sales cycles within one of the most dynamic areas of digital advertising.
This position is designed for individuals looking to build a long-term career in enterprise sales, AdTech, or digital media strategy, with direct access to senior commercial leaders and high-growth accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Prospect and engage agency and brand decision-makers across assigned target accounts
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate and qualify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities for senior sales directors
- Partner with senior sales leaders to align on account strategy and outreach priorities
- Develop account intelligence and tailor outreach based on agency structure, advertiser goals, and media strategy
- Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and engagement data in Salesforce
- Consistently generate ~15 qualified meetings per month (post-training)
- Stay current on trends in programmatic advertising, digital media, and performance marketing
YOU'LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- 24 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Agency, or AdTech/MarTech environments
- Experience in or strong exposure to: Digital advertising or programmatic media, Agency environments or brand-side marketing teams
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging senior marketing or media stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a targeted, account-based outbound motion
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interest in building a long-term career in AdTech or enterprise sales

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Simpli.fi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current total comp range is $78,000 - $84,000 with a base of $60,000.
