This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage following the resignation of a full-time staff member. The facility supports inpatient and operating room cardiothoracic surgical services with established clinical infrastructure and protocols in place to facilitate coordinated patient care. Credentialing for this assignment is estimated at four to five weeks.

The state features regional parks, nature areas, and scenic landscapes that provide options for outdoor exploration and leisure. Clinicians relocating or traveling for this assignment will find accessible regional attractions throughout the state.

Clinicians will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and operating room settings on a night shift and 24-hour call basis, working a Monday through Monday rotation on an every-other-week schedule. Clinical responsibilities include first assisting, rounding, and cardiothoracic surgical procedures as required throughout each assigned coverage period. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system. This is an on-site assignment, and prescriptive authority is required for consideration.
