Responsibilities

  • Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers purchases.
  • Manages the Caf lobby to ensure everything is stocked, cleaned, and ready for service.
  • Performs a variety of culinary duties associated with the preparation, presentation, and service of cold food items such as salads, sandwiches, and desserts.
  • Completes all logs as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Complete daily and periodic cleaning assignments
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment. Follow state and county sanitation regulations.
  • Perform tasks using appropriate safety equipment and follow all safety standards.
  • Report all issues found that relate to patient care, safety, and sanitation to appropriate authority and direct supervisor.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Current Clay County food handler's permit or Serve Safe required within 30 days of hire.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
