Catering / Event Manager

La Pera Catering is growing our onsite leadership team and hiring experienced Event Managers for both part-time and full-time positions, including an opportunity for one candidate to step into or grow into a Senior Event Manager role.

Our Event Managers are the onsite leaders of our events — responsible for taking the plan created by our sales, planning, culinary, and operations teams and bringing it to life. You’ll lead weddings, corporate events, private dinners, brand activations, and large-scale catered experiences from load-in through breakdown, directing onsite teams, managing timelines and service flow, communicating with clients, planners, venues, and vendors, and solving problems calmly and professionally in real time.

We’re looking for hospitality professionals who are organized, confident, solutions-oriented, and genuinely enjoy leading people. Strong candidates will have experience in catering, restaurants, hotels, venues, banquets, or event production and be comfortable managing both the details of an event and the team executing it.

We are also looking for a Senior Event Manager to help strengthen and lead our growing team of approximately 6–8 Event Managers. This person may join at the Senior level or grow into the position during a 90-day training period. In addition to leading events onsite, the Senior Event Manager will lead our weekly Monday Event Manager meeting, assist with hiring and training, coach Event Managers, strengthen onsite systems and standards, and work closely with our Operations team to improve organization, professionalism, consistency, and accountability across every event.
