TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Indianapolis, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
Schedule: Start times vary, working 5-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, 49.8 average weekly hours
Pay: $28.27 Per hour + $6.16 Health & Welfare up to 40 hours
Route Type: Local running North of Indianapolis and to Cincinnati
Freight / Load Type: Hauling mail
Equipment: Automatic & Manual, 48' - 53' trailers with liftgate
Handling: Light touch, driver will roll mail carts
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
License: CDL A
Experience: 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Endorsements: None
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes
Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Perform required handling tasks
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
