Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past five years.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card with at least one year certification obtained at the time of issue.
- Successful completion of a road test.
- Meets company driving record requirements.
- Acceptable responses from previous employment verifications.
- Successful completion of all required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Safe driving record and consistent commitment to high safety standards.
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle, including tractor and trailer, safely and professionally.
- Follow all safety and operating policies, procedures, and requirements at all times.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
- Support company success by completing customer deliveries accurately and on time.
- Complete scheduled deliveries and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and associates to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing work in a timely manner.
- Perform and document pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete all required paperwork accurately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
- Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.
- Maintain all DOT-required licenses and documentation.
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions.
- Follow all DOT rules and regulations.
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely at all times.
- Safely enter and exit the cab independently.
- Complete pickups and deliveries on time.
- Follow safety and quality standards on and off the road.
- Interact with customers and the public in a positive, professional manner while delivering products.
- Contribute as a positive team member with a commitment to fulfilling customer expectations and doing Whatever It Takes.
