CDL A Port Driver - Fontana, CA - $29.00 Per Hour
TransForce is hiring experienced CDL A drivers for a local port driving position serving Southern California. This role is ideal for drivers with port experience who hold a valid TWIC card and are comfortable operating manual transmission equipment.
Pay & Schedule
- $29.00 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- MondayFriday schedule
- 4:00 PM start time
- Home daily
Key Responsibilities
- Transport freight between ports, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations
- Safely operate manual transmission tractor-trailers
- Complete vehicle inspections and required paperwork
- Adhere to all DOT, customer, and port regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Valid California Class A CDL
- Valid TWIC Card
- Manual transmission experience required
- No automatic transmission restriction
- No intrastate-only restriction
- 36 months of port experience required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
