About the Position

TransForce is seeking Class A Flatbed drivers for a Direct Hire position in Dalton, OH. This role offers a competitive pay structure and a supportive work environment.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $1,890 - $2,490 Weekly


• Schedule: Out 3 weeks, home 3 days

Job Details

• Route Type: Regional (400-mile radius)


• Freight / Load Type: Steel products, building materials, pipe, lumber


• Equipment: Automatic trucks


• Handling: Strap and tarp when needed. If you tarp more than 3 times per week, there is a $75 bonus.


• Trucks have refrigerators and hookups for microwaves.


• Pet policy available.


• Rider policy available.


• Able to take the truck home.


• NO oversized loads.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles on local routes.


• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.


• Perform required handling tasks including strapping and tarping.


• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.


• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.


• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.

Minimum Requirements

• License: Class A


• Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.


• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).


• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
