This local CDL A Driver position in Albany, NY pays $30 per hour. You will haul auto parts to car dealerships across New York and Vermont, with routes that include Rochester, Syracuse, Fayetteville, Ithaca, Elmira, Queensbury, Rutland, and Berlin. This TransForce opportunity is temp-to-perm and offers a local driving assignment based in Albany.
This role requires heavy-touch freight handling, including loading rolling cages and unloading loose auto parts by hand. Drivers will operate automatic tractors with day cabs and single- and tandem-axle trailers.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay rate: $30 per hour
- Estimated weekly gross: $1,400
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Start time between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM
- Approximately 10.5-hour workdays
- Local routes based in Albany, NY
What You'll Be Doing
- Haul auto parts to car dealerships throughout New York and Vermont.
- Load auto parts in rolling cages and unload loose auto parts by hand.
- Drive automatic tractors with day cabs and 28-foot, 32-foot, and 48-foot trailers.
What You Need
- Valid CDL A
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
