TransForce is hiring CDL A Yard Jockeys to support operations in Marion, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CDL drivers looking for a home daily position with consistent overnight hours.



About the Position


We have two positions available with the following schedules:



  • 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

  • 10:30 PM 6:30 AM



Pay & Schedule Details



  • $24.00 per hour

  • Home Daily

  • Consistent overnight schedule



Job Details



  • Route Type: Local

  • Freight: No Touch

  • Equipment: Well-maintained equipment

  • Handling: Safely move trailers throughout the yard



Key Responsibilities



  • Safely move trailers throughout the yard.

  • Spot trailers into and out of loading dock doors.

  • Couple and uncouple tractors and trailers.

  • Chock trailers during loading and unloading operations.

  • Pull loaded and empty trailers from dock doors.

  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

  • Follow all Penske Logistics, DOT, and safety procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and dispatch.



Minimum Requirements



  • 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.

  • Valid CDL Class A License.

  • 12 months of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.

  • Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).

  • No more than two moving violations or preventable accidents within the past three years.

  • Ability to communicate in English in accordance with DOT regulations.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and licensed in your state of residence.
