TransForce is seeking a yard switcher to support local operations based in Darlington, SC.





Job Details





  • Schedule: 3 on 3 off 4 on 4 off Thurs-Sat rotating Weds. 7 am-7pm







  • Pay: $28/hour







  • Duties: Operating DOT Road Legal tandem axle yard trucks and running from warehouse to customer's plant which is approximately .4 miles away




  • Equipment: yardswitcher







Minimum Requirements:





  • Experience: 2 years Class A







  • Strong disposition for positive customer service, strong verbal communication skills




  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)




  • Will work in all types of weather conditions







Responsibilities:





  • Driving a yardswitcher, connecting, and backing
