About the Position
We are currently seeking a CDL B Driver for a local position in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role offers a pay rate of $27 per hour with the opportunity for overtime. The driver will primarily operate an automatic stake truck and box truck, delivering plumbing materials and equipment.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Freight: Plumbing pipe, valves, fittings, fixtures, and equipment
- Equipment: Automatic stake truck and box truck
- Handling: 90% driving, 10% warehouse duties including staging and loading
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials by the time scheduled
- Secure materials within weight limits and obtain customer signatures
- Assist in warehouse duties as necessary
Minimum Requirements
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Must have a valid Class B or A Commercial Drivers License
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Smartphone savvy with a friendly customer-facing disposition
- Nice to have: Moffett experience
