About the Position


We are assisting our client, a readymix concrete operation in Central Square, NY, in finding experienced CDL B drivers for direct hire. This is a home daily position paying $28-$34/hr depending on experience, with routes staying within 1 hour of the plant in the Syracuse area.



Pay & Schedule Details



  • Pay Rate: $28.00 - $34.00/hr depending on experience

  • Weekly pay



  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday (once or twice a year)

  • Typical start time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM, may vary based on business demand

  • Hours: 8-10 hours per day

  • Home daily



Job Details

  • Equipment: Front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks

Key Responsibilities



  • Hauling readymix concrete within 1 hour of the base plant in the Syracuse, NY area

  • Occasionally working from other plants within the Syracuse network

  • Verifying material is properly mixed with correct slump before leaving the plant

  • Operating front discharge and rear discharge readymix concrete trucks



Minimum Requirements



  • Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

  • Valid CDL B

  • Readymix concrete experience preferred; other experienced truck drivers will be considered and trained

  • Manual transmission experience preferred

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
