TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver to support local dedicated operations based in Grove City, Ohio.



This long-term position offers steady work, a consistent daytime schedule, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. The first week will include training.



CDL B Driver Details:

• Schedule: MondaySaturday availability; 7:00 a.m. start; approximately 8-hour days
  
• Pay: $26.32 per hour; overtime after 40 hours
  
• Route Type: Local dedicated routes; all stops are within a 100-mile radius of Columbus, Ohio
  
• Stops: Approximately 46 stops per day
  
• Freight / Load Type: Cable boxes delivered to point-of-sale facilities
  
• Equipment: 26-foot straight truck with liftgate
  
• Handling: High-touch freight using a manual pallet jack; pallet loads may weigh up to 1,500 lbs. Delivery conditions may include hills or gravel surfaces
  

CDL B Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: Valid CDL B
  
• Experience: At least 9 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  
• Equipment Experience: Straight truck / box truck experience preferred
  
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  
• Must be able to safely perform high-touch deliveries using a manual pallet jack
  

CDL B Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck with liftgate on local dedicated routes
  
• Deliver cable boxes to point-of-sale facilities in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  
• Complete approximately 46 stops per day within the Columbus-area service radius
  
• Use a manual pallet jack to move palletized freight, including on hills or gravel surfaces when required
  
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required paperwork
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
