POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused CEB Joint Pack Quality Control (QC) Technician to support manufacturing operations by inspecting, verifying, and ensuring the quality of CEB Joint Pack assemblies and components. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections throughout the production process, identifying defects, maintaining accurate quality records, and ensuring all products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and company quality standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Inspection: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of HPB Joint Pack products and components to verify compliance with quality standards, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Defect Identification: Identify, document, and report quality issues, non-conformances, and defects to production and quality leadership for corrective action.
Measurement & Testing: Utilize measuring instruments and testing equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality tools to verify dimensional and visual requirements.
Documentation & Recordkeeping: Complete inspection reports, quality records, non-conformance reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Process Verification: Monitor production processes and verify adherence to approved manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
Material Verification: Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet established quality requirements before release to production.
Customer & Internal Support: Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Compliance: Adhere to company quality systems, safety procedures, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Safety & Housekeeping: Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous quality control, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Experience using measuring devices and inspection equipment preferred
Basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and data entry
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
This position may require standing and walking for extended periods, frequent bending, reaching, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
Regular use of inspection tools, gauges, and measurement equipment.
Work performed in a manufacturing and production environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures.
Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
No travel required; occasional local travel for training or business support may be required.
