Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our client in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location: New Port Richey, FL

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 3 months (possibility of extension)

Pay Rate: $22/hr *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Description

Room and prepare patients for examinations. Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens. Administer injections and immunizations as directed by the provider. Follow up with patients regarding laboratory and radiology results. Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures

What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart? Attention to detail, excellent bedside manner, emphasis on patient care

Type of certification required: CMA/RMA #PHC
