Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - General

COTA Nursing Home

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, including Saturdays

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 12

Requirements

• New York license required
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility required

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic treatment and care to patients under the direction of a physical therapist.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care and treatment provided in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
