Golden Shore Media is a creative and multi-format media company focused on developing, producing, and delivering engaging content across multiple platforms and formats.

As we continue to grow and expand our creative and commercial operations, we are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and lead the company’s financial strategy.

This is a full-time, fully remote position for a strategic finance executive who understands how to balance financial discipline with the fast-moving and evolving nature of the media and creative industries.

The Role

The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the financial health and long-term financial strategy of Golden Shore Media. The CFO will work closely with executive leadership to guide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, investment decisions, operational performance, and sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will bring strong financial leadership, commercial judgment, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear strategies that support both our creative ambitions and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Golden Shore Media’s overall financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Serve as a strategic financial partner to the executive leadership team.

Oversee accounting, financial reporting, cash-flow management, tax planning, and financial controls.

Develop financial models and forecasts to support growth initiatives, new projects, content investments, and strategic opportunities.

Monitor the financial performance and profitability of projects, business units, partnerships, and revenue streams.

Establish and track key financial and operational performance indicators.

Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and long-term enterprise value.

Provide financial guidance on new media projects, partnerships, investments, and expansion opportunities.

Develop scalable financial systems, processes, and internal controls as the company grows.

Oversee financial risk management and ensure compliance with applicable U.S. financial, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, financial institutions, tax professionals, and other financial partners.

Provide executive leadership with clear financial reporting, analysis, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Build, develop, and lead the finance and accounting function as organizational needs evolve.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Significant senior-level financial leadership experience, ideally as a CFO, VP of Finance, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or comparable leadership role.

Strong expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, financial reporting, and cash-flow management.

Demonstrated experience supporting growth-oriented organizations and advising executive leadership.

Strong understanding of financial controls, risk management, and U.S. financial and regulatory requirements.

Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.

Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial environment.

Experience within media, digital media, entertainment, advertising, content production, creative services, or a related industry is highly desirable.

Experience managing multiple revenue streams, project-based economics, or content-related financial models is a plus.

CPA, CFA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualification is preferred but not required.

Candidates must currently be based in the United States.
