This full-time Class A CDL Driver role operates Monday through Friday with a 7:00 a.m. start time, using flatbed trailers to transport fence and construction materials to customer locations and jobsites within a defined regional territory. The position does not require overnight stays or special endorsements and includes supporting yard and warehouse operations when not on delivery routes.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A CDL vehicle safely and in full compliance with DOT regulations to transport fence and construction materials to customer doors and jobsites.
- Drive a flatbed trailer within a territory of approximately a three-hour radius of Fargo, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Secure loads properly on flatbed trailers to protect materials and maintain safety during transport.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles and equipment remain in safe operating condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise on route.
- Assist yard and warehouse staff with loading and unloading materials when not actively driving routes.
- Support general warehouse operations, including organizing materials, staging orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Operate forklifts and skid steers, as needed and if qualified, to move, load, and unload materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while driving, loading, unloading, and working in the yard or warehouse.
- Complete required delivery and DOT documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
- Valid Class A CDL with the ability to legally operate a commercial vehicle and flatbed trailer.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to safely operate a flatbed trailer and secure loads of fence and construction materials.
- Capability to work a Monday through Friday schedule with a 7:00 a.m. start time.
- Strong awareness of DOT safety regulations and commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to assist with yard and warehouse operations when not driving.
- Physical ability to climb on and off trailers, handle materials, and work in and out of vehicles and facilities throughout the day.
- Reliable communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift experience preferred, including loading and unloading materials.
- Skid steer experience preferred for moving and staging materials in the yard.
- Experience in warehouse operations, including order staging, inventory handling, and material organization.
- Familiarity with flatbed load securement practices and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation accurately.
- Customer-focused mindset with a professional and courteous approach during deliveries.

Pay and Benefits
