Originally the Planing Mill manufactured doors and windows and supplied building materials for home and light commercial construction. Today, APM is proud to continue the family tradition of providing high-quality goods and services at a fair price. The company now operates under three complementary banners: APM Building Materials (retail building materials, manufacturing, and a True Value Hardware Store); APM Buildings (a supplier of pole barn and garage building materials serving customers within a 300-mile radius of Arendtsville); and Accent Building Products (an e-commerce site serving the 48 continental states with accent products for the home). This structure allows APM to combine hands-on manufacturing and local service with broader regional distribution and online convenience.

Now Hiring — Class A CDL Driver

Position: Class A CDL driver for mostly local deliveries using a flatbed trailer equipped with a Moffett forklift. Schedule: Monday through Friday with no evening shifts. Pay: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits: Competitive benefits package that supports family-oriented employees and long-term retention. Responsibilities include safe operation of a Class A vehicle, securement of building materials on a flatbed, using the Moffett forklift for offloading, maintaining delivery schedules, and providing professional customer service on site. Candidates should hold a valid Class A CDL, have clean driving records, and demonstrate reliability and teamwork. Prior experience with flatbed loads and a Moffett or similar truck-mounted forklift is a plus.
