Class A or B CDL Bob Truck Driver
Location: Russellville, AR / Dardanelle, AR
Travel: Frequent travel required, including trips lasting 23 weeks at a time

About the Role
The Class A or B CDL Bob Truck Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of equipment and materials to job sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service. This position requires a dependable driver who can operate commercial vehicles efficiently, perform daily inspections, and comply with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and company regulations.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically aware, and willing to travel extensively while supporting field operations.
Expected Hours
This position averages approximately 65 hours per week. Our drivers can earn up to $86,645.00
Please note that weekly hours may vary based on business needs, weather conditions, operational demands, and project schedules. During periods of inclement weather or seasonal slowdowns, available hours may be reduced.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A preferred but not required)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check
- Must live within a commutable distance of the assigned yard
- Ability to operate manual transmissions (1018 speed) with no CDL restrictions
Compensation & Travel
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
- Average of approximately 65 hours per week
- Company-paid hotel accommodations for overnight travel
- $45.00 per diem for each overnight stay
- Company-paid lunch provided daily
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating bobtail trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor mechanical repairs
Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, DOT, and Denali safety standards
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
- Load and unload equipment and materials while ensuring cargo is properly secured
- Position vehicles safely at loading and unloading locations using spotters or crew signals when necessary
- Read maps, GPS systems, and route information to determine the safest and most efficient travel routes
- Couple and uncouple trailers and connect or disconnect air and electrical lines when required
- Receive and verify delivery instructions from dispatch, supervisors, or area managers
- Operate Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), communication equipment, and other required technology
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and transportation documentation
- Represent Denali professionally while providing exceptional customer service
Safety Expectations
- Follow all Denali, OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or equipment issues
- Verify that all mechanical, emergency, and safety equipment is functioning properly before operating any vehicle
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety for yourself, coworkers, customers, and the public
